Travel RN Opportunity - Chesterfield, Missouri

Position Details

• Specialty: Rehab (Med/Surg) Registered Nurse (RN)
• Employment Type: Travel
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Float Requirements: Must float within 5 units: Stroke, Comprehensive, Medically Complex, Brain Injury, Spinal Cord Injury
• Patient Population: Adults (18+ years)
• Patient Ratios: Approximately 1:6-7 during the day, 1:8 at night; each nurse has a dedicated tech
• Number of Beds: 81 private rooms
• Electronic Health Record (EHR): Epic

Required Qualifications

• Licensure: RN licensed in Missouri
• Certifications: BLS (CPR) Certification
• Years of Experience: Minimum 2 years in specialty (Rehab/Med-Surg)
• Preferred: Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (CRRN) credential
• Personality Fit: Flexible, collaborative, positive demeanor

Facility & Unit Information

• Inpatient rehabilitation hospital specializing in recovery from strokes, brain/spinal cord injuries, amputations, multiple trauma, cancer, complex orthopedic injuries, and other conditions.
• Features include specialized units for brain injury and stroke care, high-tech therapy gymnasiums, family-friendly private rooms, pet therapy, outdoor healing garden, and a special apartment for practicing daily living tasks.
• Emphasis on comprehensive treatment addressing physical, emotional, and psychological needs.

Additional Requirements & Notes

• Must comply with facility’s influenza vaccination policy or have an approved exemption (masking required during flu season).
• Scrub color: black scrubs
• Must wear agency-provided ID badge
• Report time: 6:30 PM; check in with Charge Nurse upon arrival
• Parking available in garage (upper level or back two rows of lower level)
