• Unit: Psychiatric ICU
• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours guaranteed
• Weekend Hours: 36 hours (required)
• Call Requirements: None
• Float Requirements: Potentially required

Unit Information

• Number of Beds: 6-bed ICU
• Patient Ratios: 3:5
• Patient Population: Adults with acute mental health conditions including thought disorders, psychosis, personality disorders, and manic episodes
• Equipment/EMR: Not specified

Required Qualifications

• License: Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in adult psychiatric nursing
• Skills:

  • De-escalation skills
  • Experience with acute adult mental health patients
