Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Position Details

  • Specialty: Neonatal Intensive Care
  • Number of Openings: 1
  • Shift: Nights, 3 shifts per week (12 hours each), 18:45 - 07:15
  • Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
  • Weekend Hours: Every other weekend
  • Call Requirements: None
  • Float Requirements: Required to float within scope of practice, including to facilities within a 25-mile radius if needed

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Alabama
  • Minimum 2 years of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) experience, including experience within the last year
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Information

  • This position requires a nurse who can work nights and is comfortable floating to nearby facilities as needed.
  • The NICU provides care for neonates with a patient ratio of 3:1.
  • No prior travel experience is explicitly required for this role.
