Job Opportunity: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech (Travel)
Location: Albany, New York
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Perform diagnostic examinations during invasive cardiology, noninvasive cardiology, and peripheral vascular study procedures under the direction of an Interventional Cardiologist.
- Collect and record subjective data to assist in establishing accurate anatomical and physiological diagnoses.
- Call commitment includes 1 weeknight and 1 weekend per month.
Requirements
- Minimum of an Associate Degree, or graduation from an approved Cardiovascular Training Program or accredited Allied Health Program.
- Certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) is required.
- Experience: At least 2 years in the cardiovascular specialty.
- Must obtain and maintain certifications in:
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Adult Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
