Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Specialty: Adolescent Behavioral Health / Psychiatric Nursing
- Shift: 7pm - 7am (Night Shift)
- Weekly Hours: 36 hours guaranteed
- Weekend Hours: Every 3rd weekend
- Call Requirements: None
- Unit Type: Acute Psychiatric Care
- Patient Ratio: 2-3 RNs for 21 patients, supported by 2 Mental Health Technicians and 1 Psychiatric Counselor
- EMR System: Cerner
Required Qualifications
- License: Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Kentucky
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of behavioral health experience as an RN (highest required years of experience)
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI)
- Familiarity with Cerner EMR system

- The unit focuses on acute psychiatric patients, primarily adolescents.
- Ideal candidates excel at de-escalation techniques.
- Dress code requires Galaxy Blue scrubs (no black or galaxy blue bottoms).
