Job Opportunity: RN - Emergency Department (Travel)

Job Description

• Position in a freestanding Emergency Room (ER)
• Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• No on-call requirements
• Floating required to other Emergency departments within the Northwest region only
• Block scheduling is not an option
• Patient care scope: Routine ED care from triage to discharge or transfer
• Unit size: 10 beds
• Patient ratio: 1 nurse to 4-5 patients
• Scrub color: Navy blue
• EMR system: Cerner
• Orientation: 2 days

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Indiana
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Minimum 1.5 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience, including experience within the last year
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• Skills in rapid assessment, IV start proficiency, medication administration, and critical care
• Experience with Cerner EMR system

Additional Information

• Must be located more than 50 miles from the facility (local candidates not accepted)
• Travel experience requirement: Not explicitly stated, so prior travel experience is not required
• No call requirements
• Maximum allowed RTO (request time off): 4 days
• RTO blackout dates or required holidays apply
