Unit: 5th Floor Med/Tele (Telemetry Unit 61115)
Number of Beds: 38
Staffing:
- Day Shift: 1 charge nurse, 6-7 RNs, 2-3 MSTs
- Night Shift: 1 charge nurse, 7-9 RNs, 2-3 MSTs
Patient Ratios: 4-5 patients per nurse (days and nights)
Equipment: Lifts, dynamap, cardiac monitoring equipment
EMR System: Meditech

Required Skills

ACLS certification is mandatory
Cardiac experience preferred

Typical Procedures

Cardiac drips
Cardiac catheterizations
Post VATS (Video-Assisted Thoracoscopic Surgery) care

Requirements/Qualifications

Valid RN license in Colorado
Minimum 2 years of telemetry nursing experience, including telemetry experience within the last year
ACLS certification
