Surgical Tech

Location

Omaha, Nebraska

Contract Length

13 weeks

Schedule

Day and evening shifts
8- and 12-hour shifts
Shift times: 6:30 AM–3:00 PM or 6:30 AM–7:00 PM
Midshift Monday–Thursday: 10:30 AM–9:00 PM, plus call

Call

1–4 hour call after a shift every week
Weekend call from Friday evening to Sunday evening about every 5 weeks

Required Qualifications

Surgical Technologist with 2 years of experience
Surgical Technologist experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
Driver's License
Neuro experience
Ortho experience
Robotics experience

Additional Considerations

Flexibility is important
Must be available for call
No floating outside the OR
Artificial nails are prohibited in patient care areas

Notes

Green scrubs are provided
Up to 7 days of requested time off is allowed for the 13-week contract; additional time off will not be approved
Candidates must live more than 50 miles away based on driver’s license verification
Candidates may not be full-time, part-time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit
