Overview

• Travel assignment in Redwood City, California
• 13-week contract
• 8-hour evenings, 40 hours per week
• Unit: Radiology

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience
• Active BLS
• ARRT (CT)
• ARRT (R)
• Fluoro
• For Rad Techs, certification by the State of CA

Preferred

• Basic Rad Techs having a Fluoro permit
• Advanced certification
• Venipuncture experience
• A lot of OR experience
• CT and Mammography certification through the State of CA
• Mammography tomography training

Additional Role Details

• The assignment is for an experienced Radiology Tech
• Types of staff on the unit include Rad Techs with and without CT experience, U/S Techs, and Mammography Techs
• Patients are scheduled 1 per hour to allow room for inpatient and ER patients
• Typical patient mix includes ER, OR, inpatient, and outpatient
• CT uses Siemens 64-slice and 128-slice equipment
• U/S uses Phillips equipment
• Scrubs are provided by the hospital
• EMR: Cerner
