Mammography Technologist

Overview

Travel assignment in Monterey, California.
Unit: Mammography Technician.
Screening mammography role using Hologic Selenia and Hologic Dimensions machines.
Offsite breast care center; does not float to the main facility.

Required Qualifications

Valid Mammography Technologist license in California.
Mammography Technologist experience within the last year.
2 years of Mammography Technologist experience.
BLS issued by American Heart Association.
ARRT (R).
ARRT (M).
Certified Mammography Technologist - ARRT (M).
Breast Sonographer experience.

Preferred

Epic experience.

Schedule

8-hour day shifts, Monday through Saturday.
Start times vary between 6:30 AM and 9:30 AM.
Rotating every other Saturday.
40 hours per week.

Additional Details

Closed on holidays.
No call.
Hospital supplies scrubs.
May cross-train in breast ultrasound.
May rotate into bone density if experienced.
Uses GE PACS Imaging Software.
Approximately 23 to 25 patients per day.
Nicotine-free facility; nicotine/cotinine positive drug screens may lead to cancellation.
