Shift: 12-hour shifts

Day Shift: 06:30 - 19:00
Night Shift: 18:30 - 07:00
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Holiday Requirement: Every third holiday
Call/Standby: None
Floating: Medical floors, ICU, or rehab

Unit Type: Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
Beds: 35
Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:4-5
Nurse Aide/Patient Care Tech Ratio: 1:10 or 2:20
Charge Nurse present on each shift (does not take patient assignment)
Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics with cardiac, nephrology, stroke, diabetes, and continuous EEG monitoring needs
Common Drips: Cardizem, beta blockers, seizure medications
RNs are required to titrate drips

Artificial nails are prohibited in all patient care areas; refusal to comply will result in contract termination
Candidates may not be currently employed full time, part time, or PRN within 50 miles at certain affiliated facilities
This is a fast-paced unit requiring strong communication, critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a positive attitude
Return to Office (RTO) required within 7 days of contract start; no additional RTO extensions will be approved

Prior travel experience is not explicitly required
Candidates must be able to work within the specified radius and meet all certification and licensing requirements
The role involves titrating drips and caring for complex adult and geriatric patients in a PCU setting
