Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

Location: Davenport, Iowa
Contract Length: 8 weeks

Job Details

• Work settings include both Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) and Home Health (HH), with approximately 50% time in each, varying week to week.
• Schedule options:

  • Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week (8-hour days)
  • Shifted schedules available Tuesday through Saturday or Sunday through Thursday, with variable day lengths
• No on-call or call-back responsibilities.
• Mileage and drive time between locations and patients in Home Health are compensated.
• Productivity expectations:

  • SNF: 88% productivity (group and concurrent time counted in full)
  • Home Health: 95% productivity, including drive time and 1.25 hours documentation per routine visit
• Guarantee: Minimum 40 hours per week (clinical guarantee varies by shift length: 36 hours/week for 12-hour shifts or 40 hours/week for 8-10 hour shifts)
• New graduates will be trained and supported by onsite therapy supervisor, clinical specialist, and director.

Required Qualifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification
• Valid license as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in the state of Iowa

Additional Information

• Software used: Net Health and HCHB
• No supervision of Assistants required
• Local placement within an 80-mile radius
• A $500 fee applies if the clinician cancels or quits with less than 14 days' notice
