Nursing Contract Opportunity - Arizona (Tuba City)

Position Summary

• Role: Clinical Nurse providing care for Perioperative Patients.
• Responsibilities include assessment, nursing diagnoses, planning and evaluating interventions based on patient outcomes.
• Expected to circulate in all specialty areas including Orthopedics, ENT, GYN/OB, General Surgery, Ophthalmology, and Dental.
• Scrubbing experience is highly encouraged.
• May require working varied or odd hours when on call and preparing for emergency cases on short notice.

Location

• Tuba City, Arizona
• Serves a culturally rich and diverse community including Navajo, Hopi, Southern Paiute, Anglo, Hispanic, and African American populations.
• Facility provides comprehensive inpatient/outpatient emergency services and various surgical specialties.

License & Certifications Required

• Valid, current, full, and unrestricted Professional Nursing License from any U.S. state, territory, or Commonwealth.
• Must maintain current certifications throughout employment:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - American Heart Association
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - American Heart Association (within 6 months of hire)
  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) - within 6 months of hire
  • Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) - within 1 year of hire
  • Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) - within 2 years of hire

Education & Experience

• Education: Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years clinical nurse and/or operating room practical experience.

Contract Details

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Orientation: Every 2 weeks
• COVID & Flu exemptions may be accepted after submission of declination form.
• Limited shared housing available at $600/month (no family or pets allowed).

Additional Notes

• RN license from any state is acceptable; Arizona state license not required.
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
