Job Details

• Shift: Primarily night shifts (95% night shift assignment)
• Shift Length: 12-hour and 8-hour shifts
• Experience Required: Minimum 2 years in Psychiatric Adult Department
• Mandatory Variable Shifts: Yes
• Float Assignments: May be required to float to Long Term Care or Emergency Department as needed
• Holiday Work: Holiday pay based on hours worked on the day of the holiday (New Year’s Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day)
• Certifications Required:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention)
• Additional Certifications Preferred: ACLS, PALS (not mandatory)
• Start Date: Must meet target start date, no exceptions

• Compliance requirements must be completed prior to arrival.
• Holiday pay is based on hours worked on the holiday itself.
• This is an urgent need position with a possibility of extension beyond the initial 8-week contract.
