Diagnostic Imaging Technologist (X-Ray Tech) - Contract

Location: Hilo, Hawaii
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Operate radiographic equipment independently without supervision.
Demonstrate knowledge and proficiency in radiation safety and protocols.
Use of dosimeter badge required.
Experience preferred with:
- Meditech EMR
- Philips DR
- Philips C-arms
- OEC C-arms
- Konica DR
Shifts are varied (day/evening) with an average of 3 days of call per month.
No guarantee of hours or time off.
Must arrive on island the Thursday before the Monday start date for employee health and HR clearance appointments.

Required Qualifications

Valid Radiology Technician license in Hawaii
Minimum 2 years of Radiology Technician experience, including experience within the last year
Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Additional Information

Traveler must arrive on island the Thursday before start date for required appointments.
Prior travel experience is required.
