Job Description

• Provide holistic, individualized nursing care on the Obstetrics (OB) unit, including antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, nursery, and post-op gynecology patients.
• Perform general and unit-specific clinical skills independently.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care under charge nurse supervision.
• Manage supplies and equipment.
• Collaborate with physicians and other hospital personnel.
• Adhere to nursing standards, hospital policies on confidentiality, sexual harassment, advance directives, and ADA.
• Support the organization's mission, vision, and values.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Maine
• Minimum 2 years of Labor Delivery Recovery & Postpartum (LDRP) experience, including experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Acute care experience
• Labor and Delivery experience
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• STABLE certification
