Overview
- Travel RN role in Critical Care/Medical ICU
- 1 opening
- Nights: 1845-0715
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Rotating weekends
- No call
Unit Details
- ICU floor
- 10 beds
- Adult patients
- 2:1 ICU status, with additional boarder patients as needed
- Must float to MSU/PCU/Telemetry as needed
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Virginia
- Critical Care Float (2 years of experience)
- Critical Care Float experience within the last year
- BLS
- ACLS
- NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience
- Experience with Meditech
Preferred Qualifications
- Community hospital experience
Additional Information
- Meditech experience
- Equipment includes Baxter pumps, Omnicell, and Spacelabs
- Common diagnoses/treatments include ACS, CHF, COPD, pneumonia, GI, and renal failure
- Navy scrubs
