TELE/PCU - Cardiac RN

Role Overview

Travel RN assignment in Johnstown, Pennsylvania.
Rapid response urgent backfill.
Floor: Tele / PCU.
Trauma Level 1.
Weekly guaranteed hours: 36.
Weekend hours: every other weekend, depending on unit staffing needs.
Call: none.
Not normally floated; may float to 1:1s depending on needs.
Patient population: cardiac geriatric.
Patient ratios: RN 1:5.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Pennsylvania.
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience).
PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year.
BLS.
ACLS.
Pre/Post Cath Lab experience.
Complete and clear screenings prior to start.
Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance.
Department of Human Services fingerprinting.
FBI Department of Aging fingerprinting; fingerprinting completed within the last two years is accepted.
PA State Police clearance for employment.
Must be able and willing to work all shift times: days, nights, and mids.

Preferred

2+ years of experience.
Positive attitude.

Unit / Clinical Details

Common diagnoses/treatments: CP, MI, Open Heart, Watchmen, TAVR, postop cardiac cath, post op pacer.
Equipment: Pacer Alines.
EHR: EPIC.
Scrub color: any.
