Job Description
- Provide nursing care in a 59-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital.
- Patient population includes individuals recovering from stroke, traumatic brain injury (TBI), neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, orthopedic injuries, and other severe illnesses.
- Work primarily on a locked neuro unit (11 beds).
- Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:6 or 1:7.
- Shift hours: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
- Use of equipment such as Hoyer lifts, glucometer, and INR machine.
- Electronic Health Record system: Epic.
- No call requirements.
- No guaranteed weekly hours.
Patient Population
- Stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, orthopedic injury, and debility.
Required Qualifications
- Valid LPN/LVN license in Pennsylvania.
- Minimum 2 years of LPN/LVN experience, including experience within the last year.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Skilled Nursing experience.
Additional Information
- Nurse scrub color: Navy Blue.
- No float requirements.
- No weekend hours specified.
- No prior travel experience required.
