Registered Nurse (ICU) - Travel Position

Location: Warsaw, Indiana
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights, 7 PM to 7 AM, every 3rd weekend (no on-call)
Hours per Week: 36

Job Description

• Provide critical care nursing in a 14-bed ICU unit within a 72-bed facility.
• Care for ventilator-dependent patients, manage IV drips and sedation, and occasionally assist with after-hours recoveries.
• Patient ratios vary: typically 2:1 or 3:1 depending on patient acuity; 1:5 ratio when floating to MS Telemetry/Progressive Care overflow.
• Floating to Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit may be required.
• EMR system used: Cerner.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana.
• Minimum of 1 year of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience within the last year.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Valid driver's license.

Additional Information

• Local candidates within 50 miles of the facility are not accepted.
• Must submit all required licenses and certifications with application; submission without these will be rejected.
• Permanent home address on submission must match the ID provided.

Patient Care Environment

• Critical Care and Progressive Care units with ventilated patients.
• Department volume approximately 175 patients per month.
• 14-bed ICU unit within a 72-bed hospital.

Notes

• Block scheduling is not an option.
• No on-call requirements.
