RN Emergency Dept

Overview

  • Travel RN role in the Emergency Department
  • Location: Highlands, North Carolina
  • Schedule: 36 hours per week
  • Contract length: 13 weeks

Unit Details

  • ED with 7 beds
  • Standard ED equipment
  • EMR: Cerner
  • Patient ratios follow ENA guidelines
  • Weekends rotate
  • No on-call except during flexing with low volume

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in North Carolina
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
  • ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • PALS
  • CPI

Preferred Qualifications

  • TNCC
  • ENPC
  • NRP
  • CEN
  • CPEN
  • CTRN

Floating

  • May float to Med surg, though the unit tries not to float

Other Notes

  • Dress code: Navy scrubs
  • Best fit: customer service focused
