Job Details

Shift: Days, 4 shifts of 10 hours each (4x10)
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours
Call Requirements: None
Weekend Hours: None
EMR System: EPIC

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Arkansas
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Minimum 3 years of CVOR experience, including experience within the last year
Operating Room (OR) experience
Vascular Surgery experience
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification

Job Responsibilities

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care according to hospital policies and nursing standards
Complete patient assessments and develop plans of care in collaboration with the surgical team
Assess and document patients’ physical, mental, and emotional needs
Recognize and communicate potential problems or abnormal findings to the surgical team
Document nursing interventions, treatments, and patient responses accurately
Document perioperative data appropriately
Anticipate surgical team needs by assembling supplies according to surgeon preference cards
