Registered Nurse (ICU) - Travel Assignment

Location: Muskogee, Oklahoma
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36 hours

Job Summary

Provide nursing care to Emergency Room patients with accountability for safe delivery of care using the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in patient care planning and supervision of assigned personnel.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Oklahoma
Minimum 2 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience, including experience within the last year
ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Work Details

Shift hours: Approximately 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
Paper charting system used

Additional Notes

Prior travel experience is not explicitly required
Continuing education to maintain clinical competencies is expected
Delegation and supervision of patient care priorities based on staff education and experience
