Unit: Labor & Delivery
Number of Beds: 12
Patient Ratios: 1:2
Staffing: RNs, unit secretary, OR techs
Documentation System: CPN, Meditech
Scheduling Requirements:
- 3 weekend shifts
- 1 call shift for RNs
- 2 call shifts for techs
- 3 twelve-hour shifts
Floating Policy: Travelers float first
Patient Experience: Shared decision making

Required Skills & Experience

Specialty: Labor & Delivery
Years of Experience: Minimum 2 years in Labor & Delivery
Advanced Skills:
- Care of laboring patient
- Care of newborn immediately after delivery
- Circulate and recover C-section patients
Procedures Performed:
- Vaginal deliveries
- C-sections
- D&C
- Cerclage
- Epidural anesthesia
- Tub labor

Certifications Required

AWHONN Intermediate (not advanced) or CEFM
ACLS
BLS
NRP
