Job Opportunity: Medical Technologist

Location: Denver, Colorado
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Information

• Department: Laboratory Services
• Shift: Night shift (8:30 PM - 7:00 AM), rotating 7 days on, 7 days off
• Unit Size: 406 beds
• Staff: 18 laboratory assistants total
• Night Shift Staffing: 2 laboratory assistants
• Equipment Used: Mobilab
• EMR System: Meditech

Job Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and phlebotomy
• Specimen processing, receipt, and accessioning using Meditech system
• Work in a fast-paced, busy environment providing quality patient care
• Maintain a positive, can-do attitude and deliver memorable patient experiences

Required Qualifications

• Medical Technologist license
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Medical Technologist

Preferred Skills

• Proficient in phlebotomy
• Experience with specimen processing
• Familiarity with Mobilab and Meditech systems
