Job Opportunity: Certified Surgical Technician (CST) - Operating Room

Location:
Lonetree, Colorado

Employment Type:
Travel Contract

Contract Length:
13 weeks

Unit Information

Main OR with focus on Spine, Hip, and Joint Preservation
3 ORs dedicated to Spine and Joint procedures
Staff of approximately 60 members
Day Shift: Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 7 PM, staffing 8-11 rooms daily
Weekend coverage: Call only on Saturdays and Sundays
Night Call: 5 PM to 11 PM, Monday through Friday (no overnight required)
Patient Ratios: Not applicable
Equipment: Specialized for Spine and Joint surgeries
EMR System: Meditech

Typical Procedures

Spine fusions, ALIFs, and all spine-related cases
Total joint replacements

Required Qualifications

Valid Certified Surgical Technologist license in Colorado
Certified Surgical Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience, including experience within the last year
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
De-escalation skills in a healthcare setting
Experience with spine and joint scrub techniques

Preferred Skills

Experience with spine and joint scrub techniques
General surgical experience is a plus

Work Schedule & Environment

10 or 12-hour shifts available, ASAP start considered
Flexible and adaptable personality preferred
Call required on weekends and evenings as noted
