MRI Tech - Radiology (Travel Position)

Job Description

Seeking an experienced MRI Technologist with extensive Philips MR experience, specifically on 1.5T scanners. The candidate should have experience working in a Level 1 trauma hospital setting. The role requires being a productive team member and adhering to all safety protocols.

Work Schedule Options

• Overnight shift: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM (Thursday, Friday, Saturday)
• Weekend shift option 1: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM (Saturday, Sunday) plus 9:00 AM – 9:30 PM (Monday)
• Weekend shift option 2: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM (Saturday, Sunday) plus 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (Friday)

Guaranteed 36 hours per week, including 24 weekend hours plus one weekday. No call requirements.

Unit & Equipment

• Facility has 650+ beds
• Patient ratio: 1:1
• Equipment: Philips MR 1.5T and Philips MR 3T (Ingenia or Ambition models)
• Electronic Medical Record system: Epic

Required Qualifications

• MRI Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience
• MRI Technologist experience within the last year
• ARRT (MR) or AMRIT certification

Skills & Experience

• Experience with trauma, anesthesia, ICU patients
• Proficient in Neuro imaging (spine, brain, brain perfusion)
• Body imaging (abdomen, MRCP, kidney, pelvis)
• Musculoskeletal imaging (MSK)
• No breast, cardiac, or prostate imaging required
