Job Opportunity: CST/ORT - Operating Room (Travel Position)

Location: Portland, Maine
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 14 weeks

Position Details

Specialty: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) in Operating Room
Shift: Night shift, 7 PM to 7 AM
Weekly Hours: 36 hours guaranteed
Weekend Hours: 1:4 weekends, 12-hour shifts
Call Requirements: One overnight call (11 PM - 7 AM) for Trauma call; call schedule varies if assigned to specialty teams (Cardiac, Thoracic, Vascular, Neuro, Ortho)
Number of Openings: Numerous
Patient Ratio: 1:1
Unit Type: Operating Room
Equipment Used: Storz, Stryker, Olympus, Intuitive Robot
EMR System: Epic

Experience & Qualifications

Required Years of Experience: Minimum 2 years in specialty
Required Certifications: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
Must Have Skills/Experience: Level 1 trauma experience
Preferred Experience: General surgery, GU/GYN, ortho trauma, ortho joints, neurosurgery, ENT, pediatrics, plastics, dental, endovascular
Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required
