Job Opportunity: RN - Home Health (Travel)

Location: Saco, Maine
Contract Length: 27 weeks

Position Overview

• Role: Registered Nurse (RN)
• Specialty: Home Health
• Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Weekly Hours: 40 guaranteed
• Weekend Hours: Every other weekend rotation with a day off during the week, or permanent schedules available (Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday) based on agency needs
• Call Requirements: No overnight call; callback required 2-4 times per month between 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM if needed

Patient Care & Workload

• Patient Ratios: Manage 20-25 patients with an expectation of 5-6 visits per day
• Patient Types: Adult medical-surgical, oncology, cardiac, neurological, respiratory, wound care, GI, GU
• Equipment Provided: Agency laptop, iPhone, nursing supply bin, vital signs equipment, INR machine, nursing bag
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): EPIC

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an RN in Home Health
• Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) required
• Skills/Experience:

  • Must have Epic and OASIS experience
  • Preferred: IV therapy, tube feeds, tracheostomies, compression wraps, port access, ostomies, chest tubes, catheter care, lab draws

Work Environment & Culture

• Personality Fit: Collaborative, team-oriented, good communication skills, open to feedback
• Dress Code: Business casual or scrubs (any color); no jeans, open-toed shoes, or clothing with holes
