Unit Description

Newly reopened 16-bed Oncology Unit
Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:5
Focus on chemotherapy administration
Multidisciplinary team including oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, and support staff
Emphasis on compassionate, specialized cancer care

Requirements

Education: Associate Degree in Nursing
Licenses: Registered Nurse license in Alabama or Compact license (No temporary licenses accepted)
Certifications: AHA BLS or Red Cross CPR
Experience: Minimum 2 years nursing experience, with at least 1 year in oncology specialty
Prior travel experience: Not explicitly required
