Travel RN Opportunity - PACU / ICU

Location: Olympia Fields, Illinois
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Details

• Specialty: PACU / ICU
• Years of Experience Required: Minimum 2 years in PACU / ICU (highest requirement)
• Shift: Four 10-hour shifts per week (07:00 - 17:30)
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours
• Weekend Hours: On-call 1-2 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
• Call Requirements: 7-8 on-call shifts per 6-week schedule, including weekend (07:00-07:00), weeknight (20:00-07:00), and holiday coverage (07:00-07:00)
• Required Certifications: BLS required; ACLS and PALS preferred
• Float Requirements: None

Unit Information

• Number of Beds: 9
• Patient Ratios: Typically 1:1, can be up to 1:3 when holding for beds
• Patient Types: General, Orthopedic, Urology, Pain Management, Podiatry, OB-GYN
• Equipment: Phillips Monitors
• EMR System: Epic

Additional Requirements

• Mandatory hospital orientation, education modules, and Epic training must be completed prior to starting on the unit
