Position Details

• Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN)

• Unit: Trauma Surgical Unit (MS/Tele Trauma 7S)
• Patient Population: Acute care trauma, surgical, orthopedic, and urology patients
• Patient Ratio: 1:6
• Work Hours: 36 or 48 hours per week
• Schedule: Every other weekend, holidays as required
• Float Requirement: Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals
• Clinical or Non-Clinical: Clinical
• EMR System: Meditech
• Dress Code: Solid Navy scrubs
• Parking: Available

Requirements

• Education: Associate Degree in Nursing
• Licenses:

  • Registered Nurse license in Alabama or Compact license (No temporary licenses accepted)
  • NURSYS verification required
• Certifications:

  • AHA BLS or Red Cross certification
• Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years nursing experience overall
  • At least 1 year experience in the specialty (trauma/surgical nursing)
  • Will consider 18 months of experience working under the highest level of professional license if specialty experience is met
• Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required

Contract Length

• 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)
