Job Opportunity: Physical Therapy Assistant (PT) - Travel Position

Location: Rensselaer, Indiana
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Details

• Specialty: Physical Therapy (PT)
• Role: Physical Therapy Assistant
• Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:45 AM – 4:15 PM
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours guaranteed
• Number of Openings: 1
• Float Requirements: Must float between two outpatient locations (RS and WF) to meet patient demands

Required Qualifications

• Education: BA or MA in Physical Therapy
• Licensure: State License required
• Certifications: CPR required
• Experience: Minimum 1 year in specialty (Physical Therapy)
• Skills:

  • Outpatient orthopedics experience required
  • Preferred: experience with outpatient, orthopedics, generalized therapy, neuro, balance, and pain management

Unit Information

• Number of Beds: 25
• Patient Ratios: 1:1 treatment sessions
• Patient Types: Orthopedics, neurological, general debility
• Equipment Used: Ultrasound, E-stim, Lite Gait
• EMR System: Epic

Additional Information

• CBTs and EMR training will be provided upon arrival
• No weekend or call requirements
