CT Tech Travel Opportunity

Location: Johnstown, Pennsylvania
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Facility Overview

• Level 1 Trauma Center
• Tertiary care regional referral hospital with advanced technology
• Serves primarily geriatric and adult patient populations
• Equipment includes Siemens Definition 40 slice and Siemens Definition Flash 128 slice CT scanners
• Electronic Health Records (EHR): EPIC, Change (McKesson) PACS, Medrad injectors

Position Details

• Role: CT Tech (Cat Scan Specialty)
• Shift: 11 AM – 11 PM, 4 days per week
• Weekend Hours: Every other weekend
• Call Requirements: None
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 46
• Number of Openings: 1
• Patient Population: All ages, primarily geriatric and adults
• Work Environment: Fast-paced trauma imaging department

Requirements

• Certifications:

  • ARRT (CT) certification required
  • BLS certification required
  • Required certification/licensure to work as a CT Tech in Pennsylvania
• Education: Completion of a 2-year radiology program
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in CT specialty (trauma protocols experience required)
• Prior travel experience: Not explicitly required
• Personality Fit: Easy-going personality preferred
• Dress Code: Scrubs of any color; no casual wear such as camo or denim

Additional Notes

• Must complete and clear all Pennsylvania-specific screenings prior to start, including:

  • Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance
  • Department of Human Services Fingerprinting
  • FBI Department of Aging Fingerprinting (within last 2 years or new)
  • PA State Police Clearance (PATCH)
• Candidates must be located 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify as travel
