X-ray Technician

Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Shift: 8-hour Day (Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM)
Contract Length: 6 weeks

Job Description

• Work primarily in Emergency Department, inpatient units, and portable X-ray settings.
• Must be willing to learn pediatric and neonatal imaging.
• Operate radiologic and fluoroscopic equipment.
• Evaluate images for technical quality.
• Use EMR systems including EPIC and Sectra.
• Work with equipment brands such as GE, Phillips, and CareStream.
• Assigned to a specific department by day but expected to float as needed.
• Responsible for working with students and performing competency check-offs.
• Mask fit testing is required.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience at a Level 1 trauma center or 2-3 years experience at a large bed Level 2 trauma facility.
• Graduate of a JRCERT/ARRT approved radiologic technology program.
• Current BLS certification.
• ARRT certification.
