Registered Nurse – ER (Travel)

Location: Waupaca, Wisconsin
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 12-hour night shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Hours per Week: 36 hours guaranteed (except during holidays when unit is closed)
Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend
Holiday Rotation: Yes
Float Requirements: Must float to all facilities within the system
On Call/Call Back: None

Unit Information

• 8-bed Emergency Room unit
• Patient ratio: 1 nurse to 4 patients

Required Qualifications

• Registered Nurse license in Wisconsin (WI RN)
• Current certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, AHA PALS, TNCC, NIHSS
• Minimum 3 years of RN experience
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room experience
• Experience with Epic charting system within the last year
• Strong communication skills
• BSN preferred but not required
• Must have completed at least one prior travel contract (no new travelers accepted)

Additional Details

• Orientation includes 8 hours of unbillable time
• No guaranteed GSA hours during orientation week
• Travelers cannot live or work within 50 miles of the corporate center location
• Start date: ASAP
