Job Opportunity: Pharmacy Technician (Travel)
Location: Waukesha, Wisconsin
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Work primarily within a central pharmacy with some travel around the facility for medication delivery.
- Shift Requirements: 8-hour shifts, rotating between day and PM shifts (M-F). Weekend and holiday rotation: 1 out of 6 weekends and every other holiday.
- No on-call or call-back requirements.
- Float Requirements: Must float to units and facilities based on census but only within clinical skills and with approval.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Pharmacy Technician license in Wisconsin
- Minimum 1 year of Pharmacy Technician experience within the last year
- BLS certification
- Associate Degree or Certificate
- Experience in an inpatient setting
- IV experience
Additional Information
- Scrub colors: Any.
- COVID-19 vaccine required unless exempt for medical or religious reasons.
- Guaranteed 40 hours per week except during holidays when the unit is closed.
- Orientation week hours may vary and are not guaranteed.
