EEG Technician - Travel Position
Location: La Crosse, Wisconsin

Job Description
- Prepare patients and perform Electroencephalograms (EEGs) as ordered by physicians.
- Obtain thorough patient histories.
- Provide patient education and support/comfort during testing procedures.
- Assist physicians with EEG procedures including sleep-deprived EEGs, routine EEGs, daytime long-term monitoring, and consults for hospitalized patients.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to facilitate services, provide consultation/education, and generate accurate reports.
- Maintain accurate department documentation and archive patient testing materials.
- Ensure patient safety and engage personally with patients.
- Adhere to regular and predictable attendance.
- Participate in rotating call coverage Friday 4pm to Monday 7:30am once every 4 weeks; weekend and holiday work as needed due to call.
- No float requirements.
Schedule
- 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday (7:30am - 4:30pm)
- Guaranteed 32-40 hours per week
Required Qualifications
- Registered Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist (REEGT) certification within 2.5 years of hire date.
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Graduate of an Electroneurodiagnostic or Polysomnographic program accredited by CAAHEP or approved ABRET EEG Exam Practice Pathway or Associate Degree Track.
- Minimum 6 months experience as an Electroneurodiagnostic Technician or Electrodiagnostic Technician.
- Epic charting experience preferred.

- Geriatric (65 years and older)
Additional Information
- Scrub color: Any color except those specific to other work groups (e.g., Nursing, MA).
- Must start medical compliance portion within 48 hours of accepted offer (24 hours for quick start).
- Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
