Guaranteed Hours: 48 hours per week (OT after 48 hours)
Shift: 12-hour shifts, day/night variable (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
Float: Required to float to all inpatient units as needed, including Intermediate Care (IMC) and Critical Treatment Unit (CTU)
On Call: May be low censused and placed on call; minimum 2-hour call back
Weekend/Holiday: Every other weekend and every other holiday

8-bed observation unit
Patient ratio: 1:4
Patient conditions include anemia, cellulitis, COPD, dehydration, pre/post-op urology and GI, drips (Cardizem, Nitro, Insulin, Heparin)
Average patient stay up to 48 hours
High volume of admissions and discharges

License: Wisconsin RN License
Certifications: BLS and ACLS required; NIHSS highly preferred
Experience: Minimum 3 years in specialty
Travel Experience: At least 1 prior travel assignment required
Charting: EPIC experience required
Ability to read and interpret cardiac strips; will be required to take an EKG exam during compliance

Must be outside a 50-mile radius from the facility to qualify
Scrub colors: any color allowed
Eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours; call back pay applies if called in during these hours
GSA hours not guaranteed during orientation week
Flu and COVID vaccination policy: Travelers declining vaccination must wear a mask at all times during flu season per facility policy; non-compliance may result in corrective action
