Job Opportunity: RN - Hospice

Location: Dallas, District of Columbia
Employment Type: Long Term
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Description

  • Inpatient Hospice role, stationed at Washington Hospital Center
  • Responsibilities include daily assessments, documentation, and admissions of eligible hospice patients who are symptomatic
  • Participation in rounds, marketing, and Goals of Care (GOC) meetings
  • Productivity expectation: 24-30 visits per week for a 40-hour workweek
  • Schedule options:
    1. 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
    2. 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
  • Rotating every 3rd weekend with days off during the week
  • Any overtime must be pre-approved with written approval from the Administrator

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in District of Columbia
  • Minimum of 1 year of hospice experience within the last year
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Information

  • Start date: ASAP
  • 2 weeks cancellation notice required
