Radiologic Technologist – Interventional Radiology Lab

Location: Decatur, Georgia
Employment Type: Long Term (13 weeks)
Shift: Day shift, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
On-Call: Yes, 1 week per month rotation
Expected Hours: 40 hours per week (guaranteed)

Job Description

Provide complex technical care to meet patient needs in the Interventional Radiology Lab.
Perform multiple diagnostic procedures in appropriate sequence and time frame.
Operate imaging and specialty equipment properly and stay current with medical device uses.
Must be able to float to other nearby locations as needed.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology or related field.
Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) license.
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
Experience with coronary CTA (Computed Tomography Angiography).
Knowledge and experience with interventional procedures; endovascular experience preferred.
RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) credential accepted as a skill set for this position.

Hospital-provided dress code/uniform.
Credentialing required by Wednesday prior to Monday start date.

Note: This is a temporary position with a 13-week contract length.
