Location: King of Prussia, Pennsylvania
Employment Type: Clinical-Allied
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Summary
- Perform a variety of diagnostic radiographic procedures with technical expertise under supervision.
- Operate and maintain radiographic equipment to obtain optimal imaging and patient care.
- Follow departmental policies for routine diagnostic exams, positioning, patient care, and documentation.
- Ensure radiation safety and protection for patients, staff, and the public, adhering to ALARA principles and federal/state guidelines.
- Maintain accurate patient exam records, including demographics and Dose Area Product (DAP).
- Train and orient radiology students and new employees.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and hospital policies.
- Participate in continuing education and departmental in-service programs.
- May be required to cover call for holidays.
- Promote professionalism and family-centered care philosophy.
Schedule
- Primarily Day Shift (8 hours/day, 40 hours/week)
- Options for 8x5 or 4x10 schedules
- Possible rotation between Day and Evening shifts; no overnight shifts required
Required Qualifications
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Radiology Technologist, including experience within the last year
- Experience working with pediatric patients
Education
- High school diploma or GED or Technical diploma from a radiology program
Certifications & Licensure
- Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) credential from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
