Job Summary

• Perform a variety of diagnostic radiographic procedures with technical expertise under supervision.
• Operate and maintain radiographic equipment to obtain optimal imaging and patient care.
• Follow departmental policies for routine diagnostic exams, positioning, patient care, and documentation.
• Ensure radiation safety and protection for patients, staff, and the public, adhering to ALARA principles and federal/state guidelines.
• Maintain accurate patient exam records, including demographics and Dose Area Product (DAP).
• Train and orient radiology students and new employees.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and hospital policies.
• Participate in continuing education and departmental in-service programs.
• May be required to cover call for holidays.
• Promote professionalism and family-centered care philosophy.

Schedule

• Primarily Day Shift (8 hours/day, 40 hours/week)
• Options for 8x5 or 4x10 schedules
• Possible rotation between Day and Evening shifts; no overnight shifts required

Required Qualifications

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Radiology Technologist, including experience within the last year
• Experience working with pediatric patients

Education

• High school diploma or GED or Technical diploma from a radiology program

Certifications & Licensure

• Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) credential from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
