Nuclear Radiology Specialist

Location

Houston, Texas

Schedule

  • Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
  • 40 hours per week

Contract Length

  • 14 weeks

Role Summary

  • Performs routine and specialized nuclear radiology procedures for interpretation by radiologists.
  • Supports patient care through accurate positioning, exposure technique, radiation safety, contrast administration, and patient preparation.
  • Works with pediatric patients; pediatric experience is preferred but not required.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Nuclear Medicine Technologist license in Texas
  • Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience within the last year
  • 3 years of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience
  • Technical diploma and graduation from a formal diagnostic radiology program
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • CMRT
  • CNMT or ARRT (N)
  • 3 years of radiology experience in any modality

Skills / Experience

  • IV skills
  • Quality control
  • Knowledge of nuclear radiology physics and procedures
  • Understanding of medical terminology
  • Ability to work with patients across the lifespan, from infancy through adulthood
