Contract Length: 13 weeks

Schedule: Night 12, three 12-hour night shifts (1900-0730) per week Hours: 12 hours per day, 36 hours per week Weekends: Yes

Role Summary

• Performs independent and delegated nursing functions under state Board of Nursing practice standards.
• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care, including health status assessment, health teaching, and health counseling.
• Provides therapy and treatment, refers patients for further evaluation or treatment, and reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans.
• Documents per hospital and regulatory guidelines.
• May be required to float to other departments (within scope of competency and qualifications) based on business need.
• May be required to be placed on call during a regularly scheduled shift.

Requirements

• Valid RN license in Colorado.
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) from an accredited School of Nursing.
• PCU (Progressive Care Unit) experience of 2+ years, with experience within the last year.
• Mixed Acuity (Med/Ortho/Stepdown) experience of 2+ years.
• Orthopedics experience.
• BLS issued by the American Heart Association.
• ACLS issued by the American Heart Association.
• NIHSS.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
• TNCC.
