Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Med/Ortho IMC position requiring 2+ years of mixed acuity experience and a CO or compact RN license.

Details

• Mixed acuity Med/Ortho/Stepdown unit in a hospital setting
• Night shift, 3x12hr shifts, 1900-0730
• Weekend shifts required
• May float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
• May be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
• Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

• Active CO or compact RN license required
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required (AHA, must not expire prior to start)
• TNCC certification preferred
• 2+ years of mixed acuity Med/Ortho/Stepdown nursing experience required
• ASN required, BSN preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• DOB and last 4 of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions per state Board of Nursing standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care including health teaching and counseling
• Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Refer patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed
• Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans
• Returning staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
