Job Opportunity: Medical Lab Technician

Location: Detroit, Michigan
Employment Type: Clinical Allied


Job Summary

Under direct supervision by laboratory technologist, leader, and/or supervisor, and following defined protocols, performs select procedures on blood and/or other body fluids or specimens. Tasks involve manual techniques or the use of laboratory instruments and information systems. May perform phlebotomy as needed.


Contract Length

13 weeks


Required Qualifications

  • Medical Lab Technician with at least 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year
  • Associate Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or Laboratory Science
  • Certification from a recognized national certifying agency (ASCP or NCA)
