Registered Nurse (RN) - Travel Position

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive nursing care including executing provider orders, administering medications, assisting in examinations and treatments, and applying nursing and supervisory techniques in the care and treatment of patients. Responsibilities include attending sick calls, operating medication distribution, assessing new and existing patients, performing emergency procedures, and coordinating professional medical services. The RN also monitors inpatient hospitalizations, supervises licensed and non-licensed staff, maintains confidentiality of medical records, audits pharmacy use, provides health counseling and education, and assists with accreditation and legal processes related to medical services.

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Education: Graduate from an accredited nursing program with a degree or diploma in nursing.
• Licensure: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in California.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of professional nursing experience preferred.
• Other: Valid driver's license required.

Additional Information

• Must comply with all applicable policies and procedures related to nursing care and medication administration.
• Ability to maintain security and confidentiality of medical records.
• Experience in supervising nursing and medical staff is expected.
