Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiology Technician (Travel)

Location: Cooperstown, New York
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 12 weeks

Job Description

• Work in the Cath Lab as an Interventional Radiology Technician
• Schedule: 3 x 12-hour shifts per week
• Coverage: Schedule opposite to other IR Tech; days of the week can be flexed as needed
• Equipment used includes Siemens Artis Pheno Hybrid Room and Acist injector
• Preferred experience with wireless ultrasound probe, IVUS system, and shock wave technology
• Return to Office (RTO) acceptable with coverage coordination

Required Experience

• Vascular Interventional Radiology (IR) experience required
• Preferred: Electrophysiology (EP) and device implantation experience

Required Qualifications

• Valid license for Interventional Radiology Technician
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Must meet core competencies, unit exam, and skills checklist requirements
• Required health and immunization screenings including:

  • MMR
  • Fit Test
  • Hepatitis B
  • Influenza Vaccine
  • TB Test and Annual TB Questionnaire
  • Varicella
  • Drug Screen
• Professional requirements include:

  • Driver's License/State ID
  • Criminal Background Check
  • Professional References
  • Resume and Employment Verification
  • Education Verification
  • National and State Sex Offender Registry checks
  • Security Credentials Acknowledgement and Confidentiality Agreement
