Role Summary
Responsible for scrubbing for Cesarean-Sections and for planning, preparing, and maintaining surgical instrumentation and the surgical field peri-operatively and intra-operatively. Also responsible post-operatively for room and instrument decontamination, stocking the OR, LDRs, Nursery, and Postpartum Rooms, removing outdated supplies and forms, and performing direct and non-direct patient care duties including clerical, supply, and messenger responsibilities. May also work as unit secretary when needed.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification
- 1 year of Certified Surgical Technologist experience
- Certified Surgical Technologist experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association, American Red Cross, CHSF, or Military
- License/certification verification as required for the position
- Resume including past 7 years of work experience
- 2 references within 4 years of submission, with at least 1 supervisor or above in skillset
