Job Opportunity: Cath Lab Technician

Contract Length

13 weeks

Work Schedule

40 hours per week
Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
On Call: 15 days per month
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Holiday Requirement: Memorial Day, July 4th

Required Credentials & Certifications

Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association (AHA) certified
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – AHA certified
Current professional license verification (must be current and verified within 30 days prior to assignment start)
Driver’s License or State ID (must be valid and match address requirements)

Required Health & Immunization Documentation

MMR: Proof of two vaccines or positive immunity titer (no declinations accepted)
Varicella: Proof of two vaccines, immunity, or history verified by healthcare provider (no declinations accepted)
Tdap: Valid within 10 years (no declinations accepted)
Hepatitis B: Vaccination series completion or signed declination
Influenza Vaccine: Optional; if declined during flu season, mask wearing required
Tuberculosis Screening: 2-step PPD or IGRA test with annual TB questionnaire; if positive, chest X-ray within last year required
Fit Test: Required for all travelers; preferred before start, can be completed onsite
Health Statement: Statement of good health or completed physical exam prior to first assignment, updated annually
12 Panel Drug Screen: Within 30 days prior to start and annually thereafter

At least two professional references
Criminal background check including Social Security Trace, OIG Search, National Sex Offender Registry, and other required screenings (updated annually or after break in service)
Employment verification for the past seven years (updated annually or after break in service)
Education verification relevant to clinical work (completed within 90 days of start)
Signed assignment agreement and confirmation of assignment (start/end dates must match records)
Completion of core competencies and skills checklist related to specialty (updated annually)
Badge photo (forward-facing headshot with white or blue background, no alterations)

Additional Requirements

Completion of onboarding education attestation (6 hours pre-hire training)
Compliance with HIPAA, Joint Commission, NPSG, OSHA topics (minimum 80% passing score)
Must comply with all facility-specific onboarding and credentialing requirements
