Job Opportunity: Cath Lab Technician
Location
- Jacksonville, Florida
Employment Type
- Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Work Schedule
- 40 hours per week
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- On Call: 15 days per month
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Holiday Requirement: Memorial Day, July 4th
Required Credentials & Certifications
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association (AHA) certified
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – AHA certified
- Current professional license verification (must be current and verified within 30 days prior to assignment start)
- Driver’s License or State ID (must be valid and match address requirements)
Required Health & Immunization Documentation
- MMR: Proof of two vaccines or positive immunity titer (no declinations accepted)
- Varicella: Proof of two vaccines, immunity, or history verified by healthcare provider (no declinations accepted)
- Tdap: Valid within 10 years (no declinations accepted)
- Hepatitis B: Vaccination series completion or signed declination
- Influenza Vaccine: Optional; if declined during flu season, mask wearing required
- Tuberculosis Screening: 2-step PPD or IGRA test with annual TB questionnaire; if positive, chest X-ray within last year required
- Fit Test: Required for all travelers; preferred before start, can be completed onsite
- Health Statement: Statement of good health or completed physical exam prior to first assignment, updated annually
- 12 Panel Drug Screen: Within 30 days prior to start and annually thereafter
Required Professional Documentation
- Resume/Profile
- At least two professional references
- Criminal background check including Social Security Trace, OIG Search, National Sex Offender Registry, and other required screenings (updated annually or after break in service)
- Employment verification for the past seven years (updated annually or after break in service)
- Education verification relevant to clinical work (completed within 90 days of start)
- Signed assignment agreement and confirmation of assignment (start/end dates must match records)
- Completion of core competencies and skills checklist related to specialty (updated annually)
- Badge photo (forward-facing headshot with white or blue background, no alterations)
Additional Requirements
- Completion of onboarding education attestation (6 hours pre-hire training)
- Compliance with HIPAA, Joint Commission, NPSG, OSHA topics (minimum 80% passing score)
- Must comply with all facility-specific onboarding and credentialing requirements
